FANTASTIC book about one of my photographic heroes. No photos, just biographical text. Photos can be found elsewhere. Insights to Smith's career and mind set abound. Highly recommended for geeks interested in Smith himself and not necessarily wanting yet another monograph og images.
If you have not yet read this book, you HAVE to do so. I've never read anything like it. It is an incredible product of an incredible research project. It is a study of not just Smith, but an entire creative community of complex people. It is simply astounding to me that someone could make something like this book happen. To me, it is "mind bending".
